Why learn a second language?
Learning a second language can
be fun and extremely beneficial. It takes you around the world of different cultures and customs. According to vistawide.com
"With approximately 350 million native speakers, Spanish is the fourth most widely spoken language in the
world." This is why CVCS offers it as an enrichment class from K-8th grades. To learn Spanish or any other language takes
time and dedication. But the effort is largely compensated with the amount of job, professional and personal opportunities
that it offers. Please encourage your student to do their best and to visit with me for any questions or tips to improve.
Spanish is an enrichment class that is offered in elementary and junior high.
At junior high level, Spanish is graded. Please check in "Power School" for updates on tests, quizzes, assignments,
projects, and participation grades.
